Inspired by the iconic Indian sculpture of the Siva Nataraja

As the deity dances the universe is created.There is a balance between creation and destruction.One cannot exist without its opposite.

One hand holds the drum of creation, аnother the flame of destruction.

Dancing on and dispelling illusion.

A statue of the Nataraja was donated by India to CERN in Switzerland in 2004

This piece has inspired a series of collaborative digital prints with Anthony Duncan.I am currently customizing these canvas prints by using them as background for drawings with paint pens
